William Howard Sullivan

William Howard Sullivan age 74, of Clifton, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2022 at his residence in Clifton.

Graveside services will be 11 A.M., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M., Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Lawson Funeral Home. Pastor Tater Paschal will officiate.

William Howard Sullivan was a compassionate, hard working and selfless man who lived a full life loving and supporting his family. Bill was born in Los Angeles, California where he lived with his parents and siblings before moving to Dallas, Texas later on. Around the age of 18, William joined the military, both Army and Coast Guard. Once he retired from the military he made his way back to his previous occupation with the United States Postal Service where he worked for 56 years and retired. He married Mary Ann Robinson and raised 9 children of theirs. His hobbies were watching the Dallas Cowboys, walking his many pets, being an active advocate for recycling, and spending time with his grandbabies. All in all, William was and still is a prime example of what a hero should be. He was someone who was always there to protect and provide for his family. William is someone who will never leave our hearts and will never be erased from our memories. The love for him is eternity.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Ann Sullivan; children, Eedwin Sullivan, Debra Sullivan, Gleen Sears, Jerry Sears, Rickey Sears, Cindy Dildine, Heidi Paul, Tyrel Paul, Chris Richardson; grandchildren, Vance Ava Sears, Jerry Sears, Anna Sears, Eric Sears, Paisley Ragland, Jackson William Ragland, Copper William Paul, Tarryn Paul; sister, Cassandra Sullivan; brother, Robert M. O'Sullivan; several other grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; son; and many other relatives.
