William Crabtree

William C. Crabtree, age 59, of Meridian, passed away on June 9, 2016 at his residence near Cranfills Gap.

Memorial services will be held on a later date at the family ranch near Meridian.

William was born on April 17, 1957 in Mount Holly, New Jersey to William Floyd and Phoebe Ella Young Crabtree. He graduated from Plano High School in 1975. William played baseball for Plano High School. After high school William attended the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with a BS degree in Accounting. He worked for Rockwell International for over 10 years. William and his family moved all across the United States while his father was in the military but he made Meridian his home more then 10 years ago.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Ann Crabtree of Plano, Michelle Claire Crabtree of Austin; mother, Phoebe Crabtree of Williamston, MI; sisters, Carolyn McLaughlin of Williamston, MI, Annice Schlesinger of Williamston, MI; nieces, Lara McLaughlin of Williamston, MI, Sara McLaughlin of Williamston, MI, Tyller Schlesinger of East Lansing, MI; and a nephew, Owen Schlesinger of East Lansing, MI.

He is preceded in death by his father William Floyd Crabtree.
