Wanda L. Gann Duvall, 87, of Blum, Texas, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 2014 at her residence in Blum.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2:00 P. M., Friday, January 31, 2014 at Kimball Cemetery, Hwy. #174, near Kopperl, Texas, with Rev. Melvin Harris
officiating. Pallbearers were Todd Thomas, Rodney Sowders, Chris Jones, Jim Bob Jones, Ronnie Anderson, and Tim Carlson.
Mrs. Duvall was born January 13, 1927 in Iredell, Texas, a daughter of Tom Gann and Maggie Louvina Patterson Gann. She was raised in Bosque County and attended Bosque County schools. On May 22, 1948, she married William Carroll Duvall in Waco, Texas. Mrs. Duvall was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Jones and husband, Charlie, of Clifton,
Sandy Anderson of Blum, and Yvonne Thomas and husband, Eddie, of Grandview; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Virgie Mae Gann of Meridian.
Mrs. Duvall was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Maggie Gann; her first husband, Virgil Carlson and her second husband, William Carroll Duvall; a son, Jerry Wayne Carlson; daughters, Ginger Sowders and Dian Whitehead; granddaughter, Tina Tuggle; great-great-granddaughter, Key'Lee Sowders; brothers, Hugh, Nolan, J. W., Thomas, Homer, and Billy Gann; sisters, Maxine McNeely and Nettie Harris.
