Ursula Yolanda Ramirez

December 13, 1980 — April 23, 2024

Clifton

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Cardiac Intensive Care at Ascension Seton Main Medical Center in Austin, Texas, Ursula Yolanda Ramirez relaxed fully into the hands of God where she now rests.

Ursula was born to Irma Yolanda Renteria Ramirez and Pablo Ramirez on December 13, 1980 at Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton, Texas. As a native of Bosque County, she grew up near Meridian, Texas, where she went to school and graduated from Meridian High School in 2000.  She lived in Clifton, Texas most of her adult life.  Ursula worked for a short time at Sunset Lutheran Nursing Home, but was primarily a homemaker.

Ursula is survived by her son, Salvador Pablo Marin of Waco, her daughter, Sarah Priscilla Ramirez of Clifton, her mother, Irma Yolanda Renteria Ramirez and stepfather, Martin Ramirez of Clifton, and her grandmother, Juana Renteria of Clifton, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  She is also survived by her faithful Chihuahua, Minnie.

Preceding Ursula in death were her father, Pablo Ramirez, her paternal grandparents, Pablo Ramirez Gomez and Florinda Munoz Ramirez, and maternal grandfather Nicolas Renteria.

Ursula loved to laugh, to cook and share food, spend time with family and friends, go to parties, help, give, dance, and shop. When able, she was always on the go, whether it was in a car with friends and family, or buzzing around town on her red scooter with Minnie riding in the basket. Ursula was a big fan of Mickey Mouse, and had fun owning and wearing all kinds of Mickey Mouse paraphernalia.

She loved others well, and was loved in return. Every phone call or visit ended with her sincere words, “I love you.” More than anyone, she loved  her two children, Salvador and Sarah. Dozens of people drove to Waco and/or Austin during the last days of her life to say “I love you” to Ursula and to her family.

Ursula was a member of First Baptist Church of Clifton, where she was a member of the Adult 4 Sunday School Class. Every year she helped pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child and shared Christmas gift bags with the children at church.
