Susan Joan (Miller) Story

Susan Joan Story, age 85 of Meridian passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 in Glen Rose, Texas.

In lieu of visitation there will be a BBQ Fellowship, Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Happy Trails Cowboy Church, 6195 N. FM 56,  Glen Rose, Texas  76043.  Please RSVP by phone or text to Robin at (817)578-5241 to ensure enough food for all in attendance. A Celebration of Life Service will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Happy Trails Cowboy Church.  Per family's request, please wear bright clothing to the service.

Susan Joan Miller was born on October 14, 1933 in Phoenix, Arizona to Harold Victor Miller and Susan Mildred Starns.  She married Terry Meade Story on October 5, 1963 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Terry Meade Story, from Meridian, Texas; daughter Pamela Legan and husband Ralph and their children Emily Legan, Kyle Legan and wife Stephanie; daughter Robin Riggs and husband John and their children Allison Dietzman and husband Josh, Nicholas Riggs, Alison Riggs, Cheyenne Smith, Casie Wilson and Jamie Gear; daughter Terri Wright and husband Paul and their children Nicole Gross, Paul Wright, Travis Wright and wife Shannon; daughter Shannon Story; great grandchildren Ryan Riggs, Celestial Riggs, Brendan Childress, Reese Riggs, Audrey Dietzman, Hudson Riggs, River Culver, Jackson Riggs, Charlotte Riggs, Elliot Dietzman and Truitt Enochs; siblings Miriam Massey and Peter Jacobsen; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Harold Victor and Susan Starns Miller; siblings Stanley Miller, Roberta Mack, Erma Honsalek, Jennifer Henke and Harold Miller; grandsons John Riggs Jr. and Daniel Riggs and great-grandson Oliver Dietzman.
