Susan Price Spurlock

Susan (Sue) Baxter Price Spurlock age 69 of Meridian, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her residence in Meridian.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P. M., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Creech officiating. Susan's granddaughter, Sophie Spurlock, will be providing special music for the services.

Susan Baxter was born on April 15, 1948 in Hyrum, Utah to Lamont and Lucy Hill Baxter. Susan was a longtime resident of Meridian where she lived since 1988. She worked at the video store for a number of years, now where First Security State Bank in Meridian is located. She enjoyed people, antiques, her grandchildren, and watching movies.

She is survived by her two sons, John (Johnny) Spurlock of Bellville, Texas and James (Jimmy) Spurlock of Fort Worth; three granddaughters, Samantha, Danielle, and Sophie; two grandsons, Jacoby and Madden; four sisters, Dortha Jessup, Lois Ann Hopkins, Bonnie Lemon, and Donna Parsons.

Sue will be missed by her close friends: Warren, Betty, Shonnie, and Freddy.

Domestic Abuse was one of the things she overcame in her life.
