Stephen Steen

Stephen Anthony "Tony" Steen, 74, of Clifton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2017, at Providence Hospital in Waco.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home.

Stephen Anthony "Tony" Steen was born on January 16, 1943 in Meridian, Texas to Weldon Odell and Augusta Lenore Stephenson Steen. He graduated from Kopperl High School in 1961. In June of 1961 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After serving 20 years he retired on December 31, 1982. In 1992 he went to work at TDC as a correctional officer. Tony retired from TDC in 2001. He and his wife, Judy Greenshaw moved to Clifton, Texas in 2003. Tony went to work at Clifton Feed and Service and was there until his final retirement in 2009.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Judy Greenshaw of Clifton; son, Cody Clark Steen of Waco; four step-children, Michael, Cindy, Samantha, and Patrick; sister, Annalee Rowland and husband, Jack, of Morgan; brother, Charles Steen and wife, Linda, of Conroe; niece, Tiffany Bell and son, Gavin of Cypress; nephews, Bart Steen and wife, Rocio, and their children, Hayden and Haylee all of Cypress, and Jay Rowland and wife, Sharla, and their daughters, Natalee, Baylee, and Gracee all of Morgan; numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his infant daughter, Shelley Renee; parents, Odell and Lenore Steen; aunt, Marie Campbell; grandparents, Early and Ruby Steen and George Willie and Augusta Johanna Stephenson; along with many extended family and friends.
