Stella Francene (Pruitt) Bonds

Stella Francene Bonds age 85 of Artesia, New Mexico passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas.

Graveside funeral services are going to be 1 P.M., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Oden Chapel Cemetery near Glen Rose, Texas. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. before the service at Lawson Funeral Home.

Stella Francene Pruitt was born on September 14, 1932 in Idalou, Texas to Noble Alexander and Vivian Perkins Pruitt. She married Milton Clark Bonds on February 12, 1950. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2002. She was the mother to 5 children, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Stella loved to read in her nook and tablet, crochet, quilt, and to discuss politics. She will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Randy Bonds of Artesia, New Mexico, Gary Bonds of Artesia, New Mexico, Elaine Adamson and husband, Dwight, of Artesia, New Mexico; grandchildren, Nicholas Willmann and wife, Deanna, Natalie Willmann Brooks and husband, Charlie; great-grandchildren, Chase Brooks, Emily Willmann, Brooklyn Willmann, and Stella Bonds; other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Vivian Perkins Pruitt; husband, Milton Clark Bonds; daughter, Betty Willmann; and an infant son.
