Shirley McCarty

Shirley McCarty, age 66, of Clifton, wife of Ted McCarty, passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 21, 2017, at Providence Hospice Place in Waco.

The family will hold memorial service at a later date.

Shirley was born April 2, 1951, in Abilene, Texas. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Luce and Bernice Livingston Luce. On October 9, 1970, she was united in marriage to Ted McCarty in Walnut Springs. Shirley had lived in Clifton for several years. She worked as the kitchen manager at a local nursing home.

She is survived by her husband, Ted, of Clifton; children, Wendy Taylor and huband, Todd, of Cedar Hill and Terry McCarty and wife, Heather, of Granbury; grandchildren, Paige Spross and husband, Matt, of Gatesville and Matthew Taylor of Cedar Hill; brothers, Ben Luce of Joshua and Paul Luce of Cleburne. other relatives and friends.
