Sarah Felan

Sarah Guerra Felan, age 71, of Meridian, passed away early Friday, October 2, 2015 at her residence in Meridian.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Meridian Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Richard Creech officiating. Pallbearers will be Veronica Davidson, Carisa Mannis, Estefana Whitmer, Mary Gonzalez, Zoey Whitmer, Justice Gonzalez, Eden Gonzalez, and Stephanie Ramirez.

Sarah was born on October 25, 1943 in Evant, Texas to Domingo and Maria Garcia Guerra. She married Benny Felan on October 9, 1961 in Meridian, Texas. She was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by her children: Julie Gonzalez, Sally Hameed, and husband, Tariq, Jack Felan and wife, Frances, Christina Martinez and husband, Eligio Ramirez, Mandy Whitmer and husband, Corbin; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Benny Felan, brothers: Joe Guerra, Pat Pina; and her mother: Maria Garcia.
