Santa Dunn

Santa Rose Dunn age 65 of Meridian, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her residence in Meridian.

Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian.

Santa Rose Dunn was born on April 28, 1952 in McKinney, Texas to Theron Tennison and Verda Love Rose Dunn. She worked as an Assistant Claims Manager for a healthcare insurance company for 40 years. She was a longtime resident of Plano. Santa Rose has lived in Meridian for about 2 years. She was a sweet and kind person who was loved by all who knew her. Santa Rose was known for her big heart, laugh, and beautiful smile. She enjoyed cooking and you counted yourself lucky if she cooked for you. Santa Rose adored all her nieces and nephews as if her own children and was the most loving Aunt, Sister, and Fiend anyone could ask for. Our hearts are broken and we will miss her dearly.

Left to cherish her memories are her nieces, Micki P. Cannon and husband, Joey, of Meridian, Rheann Patton of Bonham, Laura Stevens and husband, Bryan of Kenmore; nephews, Doug Patton and wife, Christine, of McKinney, Chris Anderson and wife, Melanie, of Peoria, Arizona, Joel Anderson and wife, Teri, of Allen; brother, Danny Dunn of Centerville; brother-in-law, Bob Patton of Meridian; other relatives and friends. Also her Fur baby and companion for many years, her healer dog, Cowlee Jo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theron Tennison and Verda Love Rose Dunn; sisters, Doty Patton and Theresa Anderson.
