Sandra Sue (Barnes) Sumner passed from this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Clifton, Tx. Sandra was born October 26, 1944 in Fort Worth, Tx to Albert Burl Barnes and Annie Fae Flanary. She graduated from Diamond Hill High school in Fort Worth, Tx and later became a legal secretary.

She enjoyed country music and loved to dance with her late husband Bob Sumner. The two of them owned a karaoke bar in Azle, Tx. She would go on the stage and sing, spread joy to others and visit with all that came by. In her spare time she loved to read books and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Sumner, parents Albert Burl Barnes and Annie Fae (Flanary) Barnes and sister Alma Pearl Barnes.
She is survived by her sons Kevin Wayne Morales and Jerry Kenneth Morales, a daughter Angélique Robyn (Morales) Pena and her husband Charles Eugene “Gene” Pena; brother Milton Burl Barnes; grandchildren Kenneth Ryan Morales, Nicholas Edward Morales, Phillip Andrew Morales, Logan Ashton Pena, Alicia Nycole Pena, Alexis “Lexi” Danielle Pena; great grandchild Kelsey Pena.

Arrangements were made by Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas 254-435-2792.
