Russell Thomas Dunn

Russell Thomas Dunn age 62 died of natural causes on October 28, 2022 at his residence in Iredell Texas.

Russell Dunn is survived by his daughter, Kelly Dunn and spouse Aldo Torres. Son, Thomas Dunn and wife Elizabeth Dunn. His grandchildren (oldest to youngest) Caibry Dunn, Leo Torres, Brynleigh Dunn, Jasmine Hernandez, Zaylee Dunn.

Russell Dunn was preceded in death by his parents, Mahlon and Myrtle Dunn and sister Sarah Dunn.

Russell Dunn was born on November 03, 1959 in Hico Texas to Mahlon Dunn and Myrtle Peabody. He Graduated from Iredell High School and became a Master Mechanic with an associates degree from TSTC. He served in the United States Air Force for 6 years and  had many careers from the United States Air Force Police Officer where he served in Desert Storm to Truck Driving for multiple industries.

Russell Dunn was well known by so many in Iredell and the surrounding areas. He was a prankster, a friend, loving grandpa, and loving father. One of our favorite memories with our dad was when he was a truck driver. He stopped by with a load and opened the small back corner door for a magical smell of chocolate. The whole rig was filled with chocolate bars in which we got a “damaged case” of snickers/milky ways bars. He will be dearly missed.

Russell Dunn will have a service at 3 pm on Saturday, November 05, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Iredell, TX
