Roger Krause

Roger R. Krause, age 70, of Clifton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence in Clifton.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Clifton. Rev. Clint Schofield will officiate.

Roger was born on February 16, 1946 in Heaton, North Dakota to Gilbert and Elsie Krause.

He attended high school in Verona, North Dakota, and married his high school sweetheart, Lois Enga, in 1967. He moved to Minneapolis where he learned to fly while working for Braniff Airlines. In 1970 they moved to New Ulm, MN where Roger operated a full service aviation business and served as the airport manager for the city. In 1985 they moved to Dallas where Roger was a pilot for American Airlines until his retirement in 2004. In 2007 he purchased a ranch and moved to Clifton, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Lois Krause, of Clifton; sisters, Laura Hoefs and husband, Mylon, of Fargo, ND, Loretta Gunn and husband, Bob, of Mishawaka, IN; brothers, Melvin Krause and wife, Ellen, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Robert Kause and wife, Gail, of Fargo, ND, Gary Krause and wife, Barbara, of Davenport, IA, Larry Krause and wife, Anna, of Georgetown, TX; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Krause and Elsie Krause Schock
