Nonnie Hays

Nonnie G. Jackson Hays, age 102, of Gatesville and a former resident of Marble Falls and Morgan, passed away Monday evening, July 20, 2015, in a Gatesville hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 24, 2015, in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian with Rev. Richard Creech officiating. Burial was in the Morgan Cemetery

A Visitation was held from 5 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, at Lawson Funeral Home.

Nonnie was born March 14, 1913, in Milana, Texas. She was a daughter of the late Cone Samuel Jackson and Pink Cornellia Pharris Jackson. She married Dewey Weston Hays and he preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1985. Nonnie lived in Marble Falls after her marriage until moving to Morgan in 1975.

She is survived by a daughter, Nonnie Marie Williams of Gatesville; 6 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
