Mary Lowayne Bradshaw was born on September 5, 1940 in Lamesa, Texas to Sumner and Betty Kidd Bradshaw. Lowayne was raised by her Uncle Ed and Aunt Norah Walker in Lovington, New Mexico. She met and soon married
James Glass on June 5, 1957, and they recently celebrated 60 years of marriage on June 5, 2017. The young couple had 3 children, Kyle Wayne, Jamie Ellen, and Vonnie Machelle and made their home in Odessa, Texas. Later, they raised their grandson, James Colby. In 1996, Lowayne and James decided to travel the country. It didn't take long before Lowayne realized that wasn't the life for her. Together they made the decision to build a house at Lakeside Village. With the help of family and friends, James designed and built the home to facilitate Lowayne's debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and it was in this home that she lived out the remainder of her life. Many family and friends have visited this beautiful home where Lowayne was always known as a gracious hostess. Lowayne was involved with the Lakeside Village Area Ladies Auxiliary, where she had the opportunity to meet and be photographed with former President George W. Bush.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 60 years, James Henry Glass, of Lakeside Village; children, Kyle Wayne Glass of Lakeside Village, Jamie Glass Green and husband, David, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Vonnie Machelle Glass of Lakeside Village; grandchildren, James Colby Glass and wife, Jeannine, of Newark, Texas, Kristin Green McCall and husband, Marshall, David Matthew Green, and Channing Brad Glass; great-grandchildren, Jace Glass, Bryson McCall, Hannah Clarie McCall, and Emma McCall; siblings, Donna Oliver and husband, Gary, of Midland, Idaho, Janelle Baldwin of San Antonio, Sandra Hudson and husband, Gary, of Arkansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Lowayne is preceded in death by her parents, Sumner and Betty Kidd Bradshaw; and grandson, Christopher Glass.
