Ernestene Miller

Our dear mother, Ernestene Miller, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the First Methodist Church in Meridian. Pastor San-ky Kim will officiate. Burial will be held in the Meridian Cemetery.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ruby Klose, husband of 48 years, Royce Hall, husband of 8 years, Ruben Warren and husband of 14 years, Ray Miller.  She and her first husband, Royce Hall, were an integral part of the town of Meridian through their ownership of Hall’s Department Store for 20 years and their various civic and church roles.  During her marriage with Ruben, they traveled extensively and her time with Ray included sharing their love of pets and supporting Ray’s love of ranching.  A devoted wife and mother, she led by example with her self-contained strength and quiet determination – lessons not lost on her children.  She is survived by her brother David Klose, his 3 children, Karl and wife Joan, Lora and Penny as well as great nieces and nephews, daughter, Dana Rusk and husband Keith, daughter Robin Hogan and son David Hall and wife Tammi, 6 grandchildren, Taylor Fields and husband Jeff, Shane Rusk and wife Marisa, Nash Rusk and wife, Nina, Cory Garcia, Tyler Garcia and Kelsie Burchfield. She was also blessed with 7 great-grandchildren – Mabel and Maude Fields, Genesis and Ada Rusk, Asher and Isaac Rusk, and Carson Garcia.
