Lois Jeanette (Enga) Krause

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, Lois Enga Krause passed away at the age of 72 while under the care of Sunset Hospice in Clifton, TX.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Clifton First Presbyterian Church in Clifton, TX. Reverend Clint Schofield will officiate.

Lois Jeanette Enga was born on August 10, 1947 in Lisbon, North Dakota to Iver K. and Bessie Erickson Enga. She graduated from Verona N.D. High School and went on to graduate from Business school.  She worked for several large corporations throughout her career

She married her High School sweetheart, Roger Roy Krause, on February 24, 1967 in Verona, North Dakota.  They were married just short of 50 years before he preceded her in death on October 12, 2016.

Some of her favorite things were her Church and the friends she made there.  During her time at FPC, Lois actively served twice on the Session, including heading the Mission and Outreach Committee and most recently serving as Clerk of Session.  Lois was particularly involved in Church mission projects in the community and beyond.  Her love for helping others will be greatly missed.

Lois was a lover of animals of all sizes including her dogs, cats, and horses.  She enjoyed travelling with her husband, spending time with her family, and reading.

Lois is survived by her brother, Richard Enga and Cher Devitt of Lisbon, N.D.; nephew, Kyle (Katie) Enga of Fargo, N.D.; and all the many members of the Krause family and extended family.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband Roger; and parents Iver and Bessie Erickson Enga.
