Joyce was born and raised in Clifton, Texas to Annie Mae Walker and Jimmy Lee Sadler. She attended Clifton Elementary School and was brought up in the Shiloh Baptist Church. Joyce was always an outgoing and friendly individual, seldom did she meet any strangers; always willing to lend a hand wherever and whenever she could. She had an infectious love for her family and many friends, especially her grandchildren and those she cared for as caregiver. Joyce was an avid lover of fishing, a collector of artifacts, "rumors" were that she could be seen traveling around Waco, especially when the Baylor students were relocating and discarding unwanted items. She was there to make use of any of those unwanted items. She worked in many aspects of the working sector but she would probably tell us that care giving was her most cherished job.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her son, Kenneth Bible, Sr. and wife, Michele, of China Springs; daughter, DeAnna King and husband, Dan, of Bruceville Eddy; grandchildren, Annalisa Allen, Kenneth Draven Bible, Austin Guerrero, Chad Crawford, Kaycie Crawford, Tanisha Crawford, Michael Crawford, Brianna Watts, Lindsey Cardoza, Nikki Cardoza, Tony Cardoza, Jaime Cardoza; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Ollie Carter of Hillsboro, Wanda Sedberry of Clifton, Raydell Watley of Clifton; sisters-in-law, Frances Sadler of Clifton, Rhonda Sadler of Clifton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Lee and Annie Mae Walker Sadler; son, G. Lamont Crawford; grandson, Tyler Hinson Bible; sisters, Virginia and Annie Lee Sadler, Mary Davenport, Margaret O. Tweedle, Laverne Ballard; brothers, John W. Sadler, Noel Sadler, Johnathan Sadler; sister-in-law, Evelyn Watley; brothers-in-law, Felix Carter, Harvey Davenport, Jr., and Jerry Sedberry, Sr.
