José Dolores Pereira, age 41, of Whitney, passed away due to Covid-19 on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on August 14, 2021 through Zoom.
José was born on April 21, 1980 in Managua, Nicaragua to José Pereira and Angela del Carmen Pereira.
He moved with his family to Waco, Texas in 1989 and lived there until he moved to Whitney after marrying Victoria Lira Pereira on May 31, 2003. Together they lived there for the past 18 years.
He was a very intelligent man who was always there to make you laugh. He loved music. He was funny, caring, kind, respectful, and very loving. José was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness on July 8, 1995. He enjoyed preaching the good news of the Kingdom, conducting home Bible studies, and serving others.
Left to cherish his memories are wife, Victoria Lira Pereira; mother, Angela del Carmen Pereira; father, José Pereira and wife Maria Montes Pérez; sisters, Gloria and husband Elgin Adkinson; Gabby and husband Justin Estrada; Adriana Jael Pereira Montes; Gissell Pereira Montes; brother, David Pereira Montes; father- and mother-in-law, Felix and Ozalia Lira; sisters-in-law, Theresa and husband Hervey Gonzalez; Maria and husband Sergio Perez; nephews, Noah Estrada; Daniel Gonzalez and wife Sandra; nieces, Alicia and husband Armando Martinez; Marissa Perez; Isela Rubi Perez; great-nieces, Alexa Gonzalez; Adely Gonzalez; Emma Martinez; great-nephew, Elias Martinez; uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
