John Alan McDowell, Sr.

John Alan McDowell, Sr., age 92, passed away on February 24, 2019 in Clifton, Texas.

Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

John Alan McDowell, Sr. was born on September 4, 1926 to James E. McDowell and Martha Oberg.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army on February 23, 1945, served as Private 1st Class, and was discharged November 13, 1946.  He is survived by his son, John McDowell, Jr.
