John Crouse

John Crouse, age 65, passed away on November 14, 2024 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 5,1959. His family moved to the small village Chester in Nebraska when John was young, where his father, John Eldon Crouse and mother, Joan Davenport Crouse were married. John moved to Texas where he graduated from Letourneau College with a bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering. He married and had a daughter, Lauren Maye.

He moved to the Baton Rouge area where he was worked in the maintenance department for Gramercy Aluminum over 20 years, until his cancer diagnosis. He spent his last few years spending time with his daughter & grandsons Julian, Benjamin & Jackson. He loved them all so much. He was so good at welding & machining that he built a lot of his projects himself. He earned an award at work for an invention he designed & created. He was such a hard worker & very much a perfectionist!

John is survived by his daughter, Lauren Maye, mother, Joan, brother Paul and wife, Susan, and their children, Michael and Rebecca, brother, Scott and wife, Belinda, and Kent, his youngest brother.
