Jeannette Wolf, age 88, of Clifton, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, in a Southaven, Mississippi care facility.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 10, 2015, in the Clifton First United Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Gean Cope officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs.
A visitation was held 1 hour prior to the service.
Jeannette was born September 16, 1926, in Walnut Springs, Texas. She was a daughter of the late Robert Ray Younger and Viola Mabel Sawyer Younger. Jeannette grew up in Walnut Springs and finished the last 3 years of high school in Clifton. Her adult years were spent in the Dallas area. She enrolled in college at the age of 68 and had 3 years of college at NTSU in Denton and later Eastfield College in Mesquite, graduating with an Associates Degree. She married Richard A. Wolf in 1965 in Irving and he preceded her in death in 2001. Jeannette had lived in Clifon's Rainbow Village where she lived for several years until moving to Mississippi a short time ago to be near her daughter. She was a member of the Clifton First United Methodist Church where she was active in several church groups.
She is survived by a son, Bruce House, and wife, Cammie; daughter, Lisa Keathley and husband, Cliff; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her brother, Raymond Younger, of Waco; step-daughter, Lynda Egdall and a step-son, Richard Wolf.
