Janice Rose (Clayton) Fulton

Janice Rose Fulton went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2022. She passed away quietly at home from heart failure, with her family gathered to say goodbye.

Jan was the daughter of Carl and Opal Clayton. She was born July 2 1935 in Linden, TX. She was the oldest of 6 children, with 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Jan married John Fulton on January 24 1954 in Jefferson, TX. They moved to the Texas panhandle and had 3 children, all boys. Jan and John were married for 68 years, with the last 38 years living in Meridian, TX

Jan is survived by her siblings Linda, Charlotte, Tamara, Sherry and brother Carlton. Also, survived by her husband John, sons Rick and Kent, granddaughter April, and grandsons Ryan and Kevin

Jan also has 5 great grandchildren. Wyatt, Dylan, Garrett, Isabel and Michael

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Meridian, TX on November 12 at 2pm

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Texas Baptist Men’s Organization be made instead.
