James Leslie Wagner

James Leslie Wagner, age 75 of Riesel,  and formerly of Meridian, passed away early Monday, December 10, 2018 in Waco, Texas.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Rev. Neil Wade will officiate. Graveside services will be 1 P.M., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian.

James Leslie Wagner was born on May 12, 1943 in Hamilton, Texas to Walton O. and Eleanor E. Holloway Wagner.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Patsy Wagner of Riesel; sons, James Allen Wagner and wife, Teresa, of Weatherford, Fred Ray Wagner of Aledo, Terry Lynn Wagner of Weatherford; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Lesa Straw and husband, Larry, of Fate, Texas, Lori Cummings and husband, Gene, of Garland, Lynette Anderson of Roanoke, Texas; brothers, Wesley Wagner and wife, Barbara, of Duffau, Doyle Wagner and wife, Patti, of Kaufman; number of other relatives and friends.
