Helene Clark

Helene "Leni" Clark, age 86, of Walnut Springs, passed away Monday morning, July 4, 2016, in a Waco care facility.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 7, in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Pastor Dewayne Sims officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, July 6, in the Lawson Memorial Chapel, 6th and Norway Streets, Walnut Springs.

Leni was born December 12, 1929, in Nurnberg, West Germany where she was educated. She moved to the United States in 1955. On February 18, 1956, she married A. B. "Junior" Clark in Granbury, Texas. She moved to Walnut Springs where she lived the remainder of her life. Leni worked for several years as a medication aide at a local nursing home. She attended the Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Friderick and Anna Seitz Buttner; brother, George Buttner; husband, Junior Clark, and a grandson, Justin Clark.

She is survived by a son, Gerry Clark and wife, Diane, of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Amber Clark of Durham, North Carolina and Erin Clark Mathiasen and husband, Walter, of Houston; number of other relatives and many friends.
