Helen Marie Chappell age 47, of Walnut Springs, passed away in Walnut Springs, Texas on April 29, 2024 at her residence.
Helen was born on April 13, 1977 in Fort Worth, Texas to David and Gloria Chappell. She graduated from Walnut Springs High School in 1995 and lived most of her life in Walnut Springs. She was a "Jack of All Trades" and made a living doing odd jobs and being a caretaker for the elderly.
She had two sons, who she was always so proud of, Peyton Chappell and James Vara and she was "Granny" to one grandson Waylon Vara. She loved these boys more than life.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons; Peyton Chappell and family, James Vara and family; Grandson Waylon Vara; her mother Gloria Chappell; maternal grandparents: Helen and Bob Raines; one sister Kristy Mora and husband Freddy; one brother: Dustin Reeves and wife Amber; Five Nieces: Destiny Ponce, Amber Elizondo and husband Elijah, Dakotah Finley and husband Harley, Jennifer Mora and Zoe Reeves; and one nephew Alfredo Mora Jr. She was "Uncle Helen" to one great niece; Aaliyah Grace and two great nephews; Mason Lee and Leighton. Many uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends that loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her father David Chappell and her little sister Kelly Jean Chappell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Walnut Springs Baptist Church.
