Gracie Lynn Martinez, a loving, supportive, and strong woman who adored her grandchildren, passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 57. She was born on September 6, 1966, in Clifton, Texas to Carolyn Morales.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10 A.M. at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Albert Hunter will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Receitation of the Rosary will be at 7 P.M., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Lawson Funeral Home.
Gracie's devotion to her family was unwavering. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and was a constant presence in their lives. She took great joy in watching them play sports and passionately supported them in all their endeavors. Gracie's love for her family knew no bounds.
Aside from being a wonderful grandmother, Gracie had a few hobbies that brought her joy. She relished the moments she spent with her family and grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Gracie also enjoyed watching the Mambas, a softball team she strongly supported. Another one of her pastimes included visiting the casino, where she could indulge in some excitement and entertainment.
Gracie Lynn Martinez leaves behind a grieving but loving spouse, Pablo Martinez. She is survived by her children Jackie Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Juan Pablo Martinez, and Juan Jose Martinez. Gracie will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren Aliah Castillo, Amaya Castillo, Antonio Castillo, Maximo Lara Jr., Adrian Martinez, Selena Martinez, and soon to arrive Ivan Villatoro; siblings, Carmelita Correa and husband,, Felicita Flores, Paulina Morales-Gordea and husband, Lucio Morales; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Morales.
Gracie Lynn Martinez will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, unwavering support, and incredible strength. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she made a significant impact on the lives of those she loved.
