Glenn Wayne Caughron

Glenn Wayne Caughron age 74, of Meridian passed away on October 5, 2024 in Clifton Texas.

Glenn was born on December 4, 1949, in Meridian Texas, to Hobert and Irene Pinnell Caughron.  He grew up in Morgan, Texas where he met his wife Regina Morris in 1974. They were married August 15, 1975 in Morgan, Texas.  Glenn and Regina were married for 49 years.

Glenn graduated from Morgan High School. After graduation he attended Hill College then transferred to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas where he received his degree in Kinesiology and History. Glenn coached and taught for several years.  Then he went to work for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF).  He worked for BNSF for 32 years till he retired in 2010, where he was a Director in Labor Relations.  

Glenn loved his family, enjoyed spending time with family, and going to all his grandchildren's activities. He also enjoyed traveling and going fishing with friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Regina Caughron of Meridian; sons: Dustin Caughron and wife Melissa of Celina, Patrick Caughron of Euless; grandchildren: Ainsley, Amelia and Carter Caughron; Father-in-Law James Steele; sisters: Mindia Seay and husband Ricky of Morgan, Amber Zeleny and husband Shawn of Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Glenn is preceded in death by parents, Hobert and Irene Caughron; step-Mother Kathern Caughron, three brothers, Wilson, Donald, and Jimmy Caughron; sister-in-law Peggy Caughron, grandparents Sam and Willie Pearl Caughron, Vernie and Avie Pinnell; mother-in-law Dorethea Steele.

Celebration of Life will take place at 1 P.M., Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian, Texas.
