George Randall Jones

George Randall Jones was born on February 28, 1956 in Waxahachie, Texas to George Oscar Jones and Eddie Marie Walton. He passed away at the age of 66 in Meridian, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, George Oscar Jones and mother, Eddie Marie Jones; brother, Pleasent Casey Jones. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda Jones of Lakeside Village; step-daughter, Steffanie Moore and husband, Berry, of Rio Vista; daughter, Margaret Smith and husband, William, of Bernice, LA; daughter, Martha Jones of Bernice, LA, daughter, Elizabeth Faulk and husband, Randy, of Bernice, LA; son, Nathan Jones and wife, Daniela, of Grapevine; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Denny Jones and wife, Melinda, of Blum, Curtis Jones and wife, Jana, of Grandview; sister, Leellen Williams of Blum; and Jason Jones of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

George was a truck driver for about 25 years. He met his wife, Linda of 23 years in 1996 in Cleburne, Texas. They were married November 3, 2000. George loved to play his guitar and play poker and also antique shopping with his wife. George and Linda bought their home in Lakeside Village in the early part of 2000. George loved living by the lake. He loved his friends and family and would do anything for anyone in need. His laughter and love will be missed by everyone.
