Genevieve Robinson

Genevieve Grace Robinson, 98, of Garland, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Garland. Graveside funeral services were held at 2:00 P. M., Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs with Pastor Randy Haedge officiating.

Mrs. Robinson was born October 14, 1915 in Iredell, Texas to Robert Bryant Davis and Florence Alice Woodley Davis. After completing high school she married William Reece Robinson. Mr. Robinson preceded her in death on June 7, 1955. Mrs. Robinson worked as a telephone operator in Meridian and later went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she was employed for many years. She was also a Baptist and a member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her grandson, Damon Clinton Pope of Dallas and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, and her siblings.
