Gary Fox

Gary Wayne Fox, 61, of Walnut Springs, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, at his residence in Walnut Springs, Texas.

Memorial funeral services are planned for 2:00 P. M., Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Walnut Springs Memorial Baptist Church, 152 4th Street, Walnut Springs, Texas 76690, with Rev. T. J. Joyner officiating.

Mr. Fox was born November 10, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Marion James Fox and Lottie Bell Johnson Fox. Gary was an excellent repair technician specializing in electronics. In 2004 he married Cindy Reynolds and later made Walnut Springs their home. Gary was a member of the Walnut Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of thirteen years, Cindy Fox, of Walnut Springs; step-children, Penny Metcalfe, Bobby Metcalfe, Tommy Metcalfe, David Carey, and Kelli Metcalfe, all of New York; 19 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Weatherwax and husband, Harold, of Houston and Janet Bridges and husband, Don, of Lake Whitney; brothers, Herman Fox of Glen Rose and Michael Fox and wife, Eydie, of New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marion James Fox on August 9, 1989 and his mother, Lottie Bell Johnson Fox, on September 22, 1999.
