Evan B. Salinas Lovejoy (a/k/a Slim Shady, a/k/a Big Easy, & a/k/a Lovejoy)
Evan was born on December 17, 2002 in Wichita Falls, Texas. On Saturday evening May 21, 2022, he passed away at the age of 19 in Bosque County, Texas. He was a 2021 graduate of Midway High School in Hewitt, (Waco) Texas. He then enrolled in Texas State Technical College, Waco, Texas; and worked at Clayton Homes Frame Shop.
Evan had a protective soul and a big heart, Family, Love, Trust and Loyalty is what he lived by. He recently got a tattoo that said it all, "Blood makes you Related, Loyalty makes you Family". Everyone who knew him understood what that meant. We will forever miss your laughter, compassion, kindness, and dedication. We will always love, remember and cherish you.
The necklace he wore with pride said, "To my Son, promise me you will always remember, You're braver than you believe, You're stronger than you seem; and You're smarter than you think, Love Mom".
Predeceased in death by his mother, Michele L. Lovejoy.
Survived by his parents: Richard Salinas and Kimber Anderson; sister: Lorayna A. Lovejoy; brother: Brynden D. Lovejoy; also being survived by his Grandmothers: Gloria "Goga" Salinas; Gwen "Gigi" Pilgreen; Grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Lovejoy; Aunt: Beni Ramirez (and late husband, David Ramirez); Uncles:Tommy Salinas and wife, Jeannie Salinas; Fermin Salinas and wife, Hilma Salinas; many Cousins; other Family Members and countless Friends whom he called Family.

A Memorial Service (Celebration of Life) is scheduled for Evan Salinas Lovejoy on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Twin Bridges Park in the lakefront pavilion called Twin Bridges Group Shelter on Lake Waco. off State Highway 6, Waco, Texas.
Arrangements were entrusted to Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas 254-435-2792.
