Elton Dorman Pullen, Jr., age 76, of Morgan, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 7, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Kopperl Baptist Church. Officiating will be Bro. Phil Vaughn, Bro. Mark Branson and Bro. Darrell Wallace. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Kopperl Cemetery. Family will recieve visitors on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. also at the Kopperl Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Danny Pullen, Dempsey Pullen, Justin Rightmer, John Riordon, Mark Jordan and Donny Scott.

Elton Dorman Pullen, Jr., was born on January 17, 1948 in Ft. McKavett, Texas to Elton Dorman Pullen, Sr., and Vivian Louise "Pete" Joiner in a cavalry officer quarters of Fort McKavett. Dorman had a love for horses and could often be found riding his everywhere until his father finally made him get his drivers license. He was a truck driver for 42 years before retiring. In his free time he enjoyed music. Dorman was a self taught bass player and loved playing any genres of music. He married the love of his life, Delores Ann Holdridge on May 14, 1969, in Glen Rose, Texas.  They would have been married for 55 years this coming May.  He will be deeply missed. 

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Delores Pullen of Lakeside Village; sons, Danny Pullen and wife, Shawna, of Lakeside Village, Dempsey Pullen and wife, Farrah, of Lakeside Village; sisters, Linda James and Mamie Beyer; grandchildren, Dan, Dustin, Justin, Sage, Daniel, Daxon, Shaye, Kenzie, Mattie; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ace and Marshall; sister-in-law, Brenda Rodriguez and husband, Reuben; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Daniel Miller, Michael Pullen; grandparents; brother-in-law, Kenneth Beyer; sister-in-law, Miyoko Miller; niece, Jennifer Pullen Waldon.
