Elenora Campbell

Elenora Ann Allen Campbell, age 89, of Waco, passed away Wednesday morning, June 17, 2015, in a Waco hospital.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20, 2015, in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian. Burial was in the Meridian Cemetery with Rev. Richard Creech officiating.

Mrs. Campbell was born near Iredell, Texas, on Nov. 10, 1925. She lived a country life in Bosque County before moving to Ft. Worth where she was a seamstress and sang in the church choir. She moved to Waco in the early 1950's where she married Franklin Campbell and raised her children. She loved children, flowers and vegetable growing. She believed in God and His teachings.

Elenora is survived by her daughters, Joyce Nobis and husband, John, of Waco, Linda Martin and husband, Frank, of Grapevine, and a son, Mike Campbell of Waco; brother, William David Allen of Clifton; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; number of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; father, George L.B. Allen; mother, Lula Francis Stark Allen; son, Danny Wayne Lewis; brother, George E. Allen; and a sister, Frances E. Allen.
