Edgar Emerson Hobdy

Edgar Emerson Hobdy age 83, of Benbrook, Texas passed away in Fort Worth, Texas on December 14, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, December 19, 2022 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Pastor Donovan Burkett will officiate. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery near Walnut Springs, Texas. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Edgar Hobdy was born on September 25, 1939 in Electra, Texas to Davis and Edna Lucille Lile Hobdy. Edgar was a simple man who loved life and the Texas Longhorns. He lived and breathed sports or anything Longhorns. His pride and joy was his daughter, Keri. Not only did Edgar love his family he loved his lord and savior Jesus Christ. He was a devoted family man and christian. He will be truly missed.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Keri Stacy; granddaughter, Arden Hobdy; sisters, Donna Evans and Mary Bunch; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Edna Lucille Lile Hobdy; and his siblings.
