Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife: Christine of Blum; children: Sarah Nelson of Brookings, South Dakota, Ross Nelson; step-children: Marisa Hanson of Brookings, South Dakota, Philip Swival of Seattle, Washington; 2 grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy and husband, Pat of South Dakota, Betty and husband, Larry of South Dakota, Jinelle and husband, Carson of Florida; brothers: Bobby Nelson of Brookings, South Dakota, and Darrell Nelson.

Number of other relatives and a host of friends.

Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by his parents: Ronald Raymond and Hazelle Nelson.
