Doris Orfield

Jean Orfield, age 77, of Meridian, passed away early Saturday morning, October 18, 2014, in a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral services held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Meridian, Texas. Rev. Charles Collett officiating. Graveside services were held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the Crown Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas, 75220.


She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Orfield of Frisco and Lori Smith and her husband, Mike, of Morgan; granddaughter, Kadi Smith of Morgan; sisters, Fredna McCutcheon of Irving, Polly Cowsertt of Junction and Perry Bedair of Highland Village; number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her parents, Fred Otto Pilant and Elma Francis Knight Pilant; a sister, Betty Jo Neighbors.
