Don C. Armour, 86, of Kopperl, passed away Thursday morning, November 13, 2014 at his residence in Kopperl.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P. M., Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Kopperl First Baptist Church with Jason Armour and Rev. Michael Martin officiating. Interment followed at the Kimball Cemetery, Hwy. 174, near Kopperl. A visitation was held from 1:00 P. M. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers were Joseph Armour, Jason Armour, Chris Armour, Brandon Cruz, Josh Hale, Paul Box, and David Hair.

Don Carlton Armour was born April 24, 1928 in Trent, Texas to John S. Armour and Ethel Smith Armour. After finishing school he met and married Dorothy Maxine Goodwin on May 20, 1945 in Plainview, Texas. Mr. Armour became an electrician and was employed with a fiberglass manufacturing company before his retirement. He and Dorothy were active and faithful members of the Kopperl First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons: Lyndon Armour and wife, Meridell, of Burleson,
Rick Armour and wife, Kay, of Tatum, Ronnie Armour of Burleson, and Monte Armour and wife, Nancy, of North Richland Hills; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Armour of Rockwall, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Armour was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, on June 22, 2012, and his parents, John S. Armour and Ethel Smith Armour; a brother, Lowell Armour
