David Ray Miller, born on November 26, 1957, in Richmond, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2025, in Fort Worth, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. David was a man who lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with an outgoing spirit and deep affection for those around him.
A devoted husband to Ruth Raulston Miller, David’s life was decorated with the joy of family and the warmth of friendship. His beloved wife stood by his side through countless adventures, riding together on his 1999 Ultra Classic Harley Davidson all over Texas. They created many unforgettable memories, sharing their passion for the open road.
Professionally, David was known for his skills in welding fabrication, working throughout the state of Texas and with Jeff England Motor Company, Inc. as a transport specialist. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him admired his work ethic and the dedication he brought to his craft.
David was not only a man of hard work but also a true family man. He took immense joy in attending his grandchildren's activities, creating cherished moments that will last a lifetime. He relished simple pleasures, from shared meals to trips to Sweet Frogs, where sweet treats turned into sweet memories.
A passionate individual, David loved children, animals, and was always eager to play cards and horseshoes, showcasing his competitive spirit in everything he did. He found joy in the great outdoors—whether it was hunting, fishing, or camping, he thrived on experiences that brought him closer to nature. A competitive championship barbecue pit master and connoisseur, he would gather friends and family around delicious meals, serving up not just food but laughter and love. He loved his dog Mini, Pistol, and Peewee.
He is survived by his son, Lelan Voisard, and wife Marya; his daughter, Shayla Roland, and husband William; his daughter, Kayla Naven, and husband Michael; his bonus daughter, Suzanna Ball-Pool, and Jeff Shelton; seven grandchildren, Noah, Kaleigh, Haven, Brennan, River, Kylee, Dakota, and Harlie; and one great grandson. David's legacy continues through his loving family, many special friends, and the countless lives he touched.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Faye; his step-father, Bob Gillen; his son, Matthew Wade; and many other loving family members. Though he has departed this world, David Ray Miller's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, a reminder of a life well-lived and a man who embodied joy, love, and friendship.
