Danny Holladay, age 63 of Walnut Springs passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Walnut Springs Baptist Church. Rev. B.E. Moore and Rev. DeWaun Ashley will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M., Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Lawson Memorial Chapel in Walnut Springs. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Pallbearers will be Chris Akard, William Akard, Nolan Whisenhunt, Ben Muniz, Benjamin Muniz, Kyle Holloway.
Danny Holladay was born on December 10, 1954 in Glen Rose, Texas to Jasper D. and Imer Eunice Baker Holladay. Danny was raised and educated in Walnut Springs. He married Vicki Holloway on December 1, 1973 in Walnut Springs, Texas. Danny was a retired iron worker. He was a minister for the United Pentecostal Church.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Vicki Holladay of Walnut Springs; son, Bill Holladay and wife, Erin, of Danbury and their children, Emily and Haleigh; daughter, Jennifer Fravel and husband, Aaron of Moore, Oklahoma and their children, Hudson, Paisley, and Miles; daughter, Amanda Dubois and husband, Nathan, of Cleburne and their children, Grant, Brentley, and Addilyn; daughter, Peggy Holladay of Cleburne; brother, Tommy Holladay and wife, Barbara of Weatherford; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Imer Holladay; sister, Unita Brown; and grandson, Ashdon Fravel.
