Cynthia A. Griggs, age 76 of Walnut Springs, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in a Waco hospital.

Cynthia A. Griggs was born on September 26, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Raymond Russell and Clara Belle Thompson Slayton. She married Jimmy Griggs on July 13, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Griggs of Walnut Springs; children, Gene Thompson and wife, Beverly, of Fort Worth, Patricia Goodwin and husband, Ed, of Walnut Springs, Stacy Lynn Youngblood of Pottsboro, Texas; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; 2 brothers; many other relatives and friends.
