Charlie Malone, Sr

Charlie Malone, Sr., age 66, of Lakeside Village, passed away on May 29, 2016 at his residence.

Memorial services were to have been held Sunday at Steele Creek Park near Lakeside Village but have had to be cancelled due to flooding at the park. An announcement will be posted later for the new time.

Charlie Malone, Sr. was born on July 2, 1949 in Hugo, Oklahoma to James C. and Veda Mary Moncrief Malone. Charlie was a retired pipefitter for Union Pacific Railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Bates Malone of Lakeside Village; children, Tammy Lynn Burckhart and husband, Danny, of Aquilla, Charles Calvin Malone, Jr., and wife, Jodie, pf Covington; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Malone of Sanger, Texas, Troy Malone of Cleburne, Texas, and Scott Malone of Cleburne, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Veda Mary Moncrief Malone; brother, Harvey Malone; and a sister, Janice Malone.
