Charles Alton Dickey, Jr.

Charles Alton Dickey, Jr. or Bubba as he was known and loved, passed away peacefully at his home on September 8, 2024 in Morgan, Texas.

Bubba was born in Cleburne, Texas to Charles Alton Dickey, Sr. and Carolyn Dickey on September 13, 1956. He was raised by Charles and Leona Dickey in and around Morgan, Texas, where he resided the majority of his life.

Bubba is preceded in death by Randy Dickey (son), Charles Dickey Sr. (father), Carolyn Dickey (mother), Leona Dickey (mother), Wes Dickey (brother), and Eva Lott, Charlie Emmett and Martha Jayne Dickey (grandparents).

He is survived by his beloved wife Diane and sons by marriage, Danny Frost (fiancée Lisa) and Joshua Frost (wife Lindsey, grandchildren Lena and Graham). Surviving sisters and brothers are; Sandra Spurling (Jerry), Janie Pinnell (Harland), Nora Mayberry (Dan), Angie Irby (Jerry), Alan Dickey (Helen), Kenneth Wayne Dickey (Pattie), Paul Dickey (Kami) and Donna Dickey (sister-in-law). He leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they share with Bubba over the years. His joyful spirit and that unforgettable laugh along with his deep love for his family and friends will always be remembered with warmth and affection. 

Memorial service will be held on Saturday September 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Morgan, Texas.
