Cathy Lynn Taylor

Cathy Lynn Taylor gained her wings and went to walk with the angels at her home in Kosse, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and her animals on November 30,2023. She was 64 years old.

Cathy was the 5th of 7 children born in Waco, TX on June 22, 1959, to Noma Dale and Robert Ellis Biles. She grew up in Waco and after graduating University High School in 1977, she worked as a groomer with her mother and sisters. Cathy met and married her late husband, of 39 years, Greg Taylor in 1982.

Cathy was a loving mother to Brian, Keith, and Clint Taylor. She raised her children with love and devotion in Meridian, Texas with her husband, Greg.  Cathy loved ‘her boys’ and animals and committed her life to both, ensuring neither ever went without.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noma and Robert Biles, her brothers: George, Steve, and Kenneth; her sisters, Connie Eaton, and Karen Lytle; and her husband, Greg Taylor.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons: Brian and wife, Kristina, of Crawford, Keith and wife, Amanda, of Reisel, and Clint and wife, Destiny, of Iola; her grandchildren, Alexandria, Zane, Cooper, Brody, Brooks, Alivia, and Luke; her brother, Robert Biles and wife, Bernadette of New Braunfels,; Sister in Love, Shelly Crawson of Bastrop; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Cathy will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, unwavering support, and incredible strength. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she had a significant impact on the lives of those she loved.

A service of remembrance will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Meridian.
