Carlton Lee Johnson

Carlton Lee Johnson, age 93, was called home on Saturday, November 16, 2024 in Clifton, Texas. He was born October 2, 1931 in Center, Texas to Nannie and Troy Johnson. 

Carlton married the love of his life, Janet Inez Johnson, on May 22nd, 1965. Carlton was in the lending business and in 1977 along with his wife; they started their own company in Shreveport, LA called Troy Acceptance, Inc. They ran the company together until retirement.

Carlton cared greatly for his grandchildren. He was an exceptionally hard worker. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, farming his goats and animals of all kinds. 

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Janet Inez Johnson. He is survived by grandchildren Kevin Johnson (Jessica) and Christina Andren (AJ) and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Lawson Funeral Home, 803 N Main St, Meridian, TX 76665.
