Buster D. Barree age 59 of Meridian, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Meridian, Texas.
Per his wishes he will be cremated.
Buster D. Barree was born on September 26, 1959 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Albert and Mary Harvell Barree. He graduated from San Saba High School in San Saba, Texas. He worked in the construction business most of his life. Buster was a great son, brother and uncle but above all of these he was an amazing father and grandfather. Buster loved being outdoors. His favorite hobby was fishing with Uncle Willie. Buster never complained about anything and was always offering a helping hand. He loved life and enjoyed doing things with his family. He was a genuis when it came to playing cards (he always won). Buster became friends with Carlos Ellis of Meridian and they were like brothers. They always watched wrestling and ball games together. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Sarah Kelley of Alvarado, Julie Rierson of Axtell, Timothy Barree of Mart; grandchildren, Madilynn, Samuel, and Lucas; mother, Mary Barree of San Saba; sisters, Charlotte Kelley and husband, Lawrence, of Meridian, Sherry Barree of San Saba; brothers, Darrell Barree of Abilene; little brother, Carlos Ellis of Meridian; uncles, Willie Ray Harvell of San Saba; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Albert Barree; sisters, Debbie Barree, Traci McWhirter; and great nieces, Natalie Kelley, and Jayden McWhirter.
