Bronson Eugene Clemens age 89 of Richland Hills, Texas passed away on January 28, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Joe Patterson and Bronson Clemens, II, will officiate. Burial will be in the Meridian Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday.
Bronson Eugene Clemens was born on January 1, 1930 in Longeview, Texas to Finis Eugene Clemens and Carrie Bell Wallace Clemens. He was raised and educated in Marshall, Texas. Bronson enlisted in the USAF in 1952 and served until 1956. He married Amelia Patterson on December 6, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas. He worked for 30 years as an Assembler for Bell Helicopter. He was an active member and also served as a Deacon in the Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing in the church quartet. During his free time he loved hunting and also fishing on Lake Whitney.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Amelia Clemens of Richland Hills, Texas; children, Bronson Eugene Clemens, II, and wife, Debbie, of Jacksonville, Florida, Kimberlye Swain and husband, Jerry, of Richland Hills, Texas, Debbie Carter and husband, David, of Colleyville, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Finis and Carrie Bell Clemens; sisters, Dorthy Rogers, Mary Watkins, Louise Lewis; and grandson, Cary Chance McMillan.
