Bradley Sheffer

Bradley Wayne Sheffer age 60 of Kopperl, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at his residence in Kopperl.

Funeral services will be Noon, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Bosque County Cowboy Church. Pastor Tater Paschal will officiate. Burial will be in the Kimball Cemetery near Kopperl. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tommy McAllister, Brandon Sheffer, Bradley Sheffer, II, Blake Sheffer, James Zavala, Todd Brillhart, Chris Heatherington, Garrick Payne, and Jarred Johnson.

Bradley Wayne Sheffer was born on November 25, 1956 in York, Pennsylvania to Glenn Eugene and Donna J. Schmuck Sheffer. He was raised in Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Bradley moved to Texas in 1975. Shortly after moving to Texas he married Teresa Brillhart on July 17, 1976 in Mansfield, Texas. To this marriage 3 children were born Bradley Sheffer, II, Tonya Sheffer, and Brandon Sheffer. The couple moved to Kopperl in 1989. He loved his family and his family loved him. Family always came first in Bradley's eyes. He worked for Bell Helicopter for a number of years before going into construction. Bradley worked a lot with his hands creating jewelry, knifes, and wood working. His passion was riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He was very non judgmental and welcomed everyone with open arms. A brother like fight to most of his friends that will miss him greatly. If you ever needed anything he would try and find a way to help you out. He was a father figure to a lot of nieces, nephews, and children that were not even blood. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Teresa Sheffer of Kopperl; children, Bradley Sheffer, II, and wife, Chandra, of Kopperl, Tonya Anderson and husband, Robert, of Bishopville, Maryland, Brandon Sheffer and Amanda Turner of Kopperl; grandchildren, Blake Sheffer, Camron Sheffer, Cayla Eoff, Jordon Sheffer, Emily Sheffer, Wesley Sheffer, Allie Eoff, Aubry Sheffer, Spencer Sheffer; siblings, Pam Goodling, Michelle Eisenhart, Eyvonne Myers, Denise Wilson, Sunny Snelbaker; step-mother, Betsy Sheffer; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Eugene and Donna J. Schmuck Sheffer; brother, Chris Gibson; and grandson, Matthew Sheffer.
