Billy Brad Johnson age 70 of Glen Rose, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Graveside services will be 10 A.M., Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs with military honors. Rev. TJ Joyner will officiate.
Billy Brad Johnson was born on February 23, 1949 in Breckenridge, Texas to Billy Bradford and Jackie Mae Stoker Johnson. He was raised in Blackwell, Texas and graduated from Blackwell High School. After graduation he joined the USMC at the age of 18 and served in the Vietnam War. He married Debbie Sparks in 1972 and loved her until his passing. Together the couple had 3 children, Sherry, Jory, and Keegan. Brad loved his family, animals, camping and fishing with his family. He was a gentle christian man and loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Debbie Johnson; children, Sherry Grenier and husband, J.D., Jory Johnson, Keegan Johnson and wife, Alysia; 5 grandchildren; mother, Jackie Mae Johnson; sister, Jade Cook and husband, Omer; numerous other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Billy B. Johnson; niece, Dana Cook; and nephews, Brian Cook and Hayden Muschalek.
